A Very Successful Fall Semester at 440 Pearl St.

This fall, the active membership was increased by 22 members, as our partnership with the Lambda Iota chapter of PiKappa Phi continues to blossom. Among the many highlights of fall 2025 was a banner philanthropic fundraising effort, dubbed the War of the Roses, led by house philanthropy chair Evan Ward. While Evan executed a masterful gameplan, it was impressive to witness the support that he received from his brethren, who pitched in on all fronts to raise $20,000 for The Ability Experience and netted $40,000 across efforts from PiKappaPhi and all seven sororities on UVM campus!

Outgoing Archon (a.k.a. president) Charlie Kimmich built upon successes in recent years to establish himself as a bridge builder, with focused attention on improving communications between the active exec. team and the board of governors. Under his leadership, the undergraduates supported your BoG to host two annual meetings in the span of seven months (to facilitate moving annual to the spring) and a very successful Fall Fly-In (the first event of that kind in well over 13 years). Charlie helped set a high bar for archon-BoG relations, a standard we look forward to maintaining with the incoming archon, William Pflaum.

For a pictorial semester-in-review of fall 2025, see the attached undergraduates’ newsletter, written and designed by incoming house historian, Grayson Blom-Clarke. Alumni will be receiving future editions of the “Pi Kapp Post” directly from Grayson. Your board is truly impressed by the maturity, dedication, and responsibility with which the undergrads have treated our new partnership. We hope you all will take the opportunity to witness it firsthand at an upcoming alumni event.
